Being declared righteous before God through

Jesus Christ by grace through faith

Sanctification (Our work) John 14:26

Walking with Christ, exercising daily disciplines, like prayer,

scripture reading and meditation lead by the Holy Spirit

Looking at sanctification today, let’s read 1 Thessalonians 2:13-15

How did the Thessalonians respond to the WORD?

  • Re _________ the Word
  • We _________ the Word
  • Word is Effectively _______ in you!
  • Became _________ of God and the Word
  • Suff _______ because of the Word

Summation – The WORD is active !

Read Hebrews 4:12 What does the Word do or perform according to this scripture?

Read John 17:17 What is truth in this passage?

What’s the outcome of the WORD?

Truth: A study revealed life change demonstrably occurs with at least four engagements a week in scripture

“Center for Bible Engagement”

This shows the WORD gets in you for life change when you show a level of spiritual commitment, just like physical work-outs produce muscle and cardiac growth.

Truth = The WORD works when YOU work the WORD!

Truth: The WORD is not for information, but for transformation!
